This magical time of the year is the perfect time to practice the "Spirit of Giving".   At Associated Charities / Ashland County Food Bank we have several ways to become involved in the gift of giving to families in our community.  We provide gifts to Ashland County residents who are newborn through 18 years old, our program is designed to find a way to connect with these families and spread the joy of Christmas to all.

 Our program is broken down into three critical aspects to give you options on how you can give. It only takes a single act of kindness to bring a smile to a child's face. Be the change in our community this Christmas!

Adopt A Family       

Our Adopt-a-Family Program connects you to a local family who needs your help while remaining anonymous.  You can request to adopt a family and then we will provide you with a wish list of their needs and wants. This is a very rewarding and exciting way for your family to help brighten another's for Christmas.   Provide Food For A Meal    

The memories of a holiday meal are ones we all cherish. Anyone can help with this gift... Think about your Christmas dinner and then purchase those foods to help another family in need.  You do not have to purchase a whole meal, even cans of vegetables or a bag of potatoes is important. No food purchase is too small and all donations count!  These items will be distributed at our Thanksgiving and Christmas meal giveaways.  What a beautiful way to involve your family and help another family at the same time.

     

 

 

Ways To Give

Stock "Santa's Gift Shop"

Our Santa's Gift Shop Program is one of our most unique. With this option gifts for children or monetary donations, are needed to fill Santa's Gift Bags for children ages newborn to 18 years old. No donation is ever too small, If monetary donations are given, we will shop to find gifts needed for the children.
